There are so many Latino authors writing fun, thought-provoking, romantic books these days, and we’re so into it. These women are talented, fashion-forward, and often driven to showcase all kinds of romantic loves, including non-traditional relationships and LGBTQIA+ romances. Romance author Alexis Daria jumped onto the scene a few years ago and immediately stole our hearts. Alexis truly breaks the mold in her work, with stories that bring strong, empowered Latinas to the fore.

Originally from Ecuador, author Zoey Castile, who also goes by the pen name Zoraida Córdova, has written several romance novels, including the “Brooklyn Brujas” series. The “Happy Endings” series includes six books with fun and sexy stories that are perfect for light summer reading. She has also contributed to a few anthologies, including the one-of-a-kind 2021 book, Love, in fact and Best Female Erotica Vol. 6.

Angelina M. Lopez writes love stories featuring strong Latin leads, but what really sets her apart in the romance genre is that she’s committed to making sure these heroines actually end up with men. who deserve them. Author Mary Castillo writes both detective stories and romance novels. Mary has featured Latin heroines in her work from the very beginning of her career as an author.
