Read Nigeria Project is a project dedicated to readers and book lovers across Nigeria to celebrate and honor some selected important personalities who have contributed significantly to the learning and reading culture of the country.

The project also hopes to promote book reading through different events like bees, quiz contests and other mediums across the country regardless of tribe, color, sect, age, religion and sex.

Adwinsa Publications was established in March 1977 in Madina, a suburb of Accra, the capital of Ghana in West Africa. The then fledgling company started in the CEO’s house. In the late 1980s, Adwinsa grew from a small location in Accra Newtown, also in the capital. During this time, we also embraced ‘desktop publishing’ (which was also an early industry) as well as commercial offset printing. From the year 2000 to 2014, we added several high speed printing machines which propelled us into a new level of high quality offset printing. We have also built and expanded our services by constructing an office complex at Agbobga in Accra, Ghana.

The publishing house is considered an expert in textbooks based on middle school and high school curricula in Ghana. The company focuses on books for basic, secondary and tertiary institutions which have been widely recognized locally by students, parents, governments and the international community. As a family business, one of the strengths of Adwinsa Publications is its focus on family and its desire to see families succeed in education, especially in the long-term development of each child in the family.
